As a part of a major bank business trade strategy, an
application was needed which can encompass the Financial Institution
information. The objective was to create a dashboard system that allows
insourced FIs the near real-time information at the portfolio and
transaction level of all their traditional trade business that are
being handle by the major bank. The function of the system on top of
providing near real-time information includes the inquiry of LC and
guarantee information. The depth of information provided by the system
includes a full inquiry and reporting system for import, export,
standby, and collection LCs, reports for transactions, fees, SLA,
ledger. Reports are customizable by users wishing to create reports
with graphs and charts on the fly for the near real-time FI information
provided by the FI Dashboard. FI Dashboard connects to three backend
data sources and feed while maintaining its own database of clients and
user preferences. FI Dashboard integrates into our portal framework
creating a seamless common logon system and customized preferences for
each individual client providing an advanced offering for the major
bank to compete with the information necessary to analyze their global
trade business..
